What do the terms mean?Probability · Probability bar · Home / X / Away…
- Probability
- The percentage the model gives for a result happening. “45%” = in about 45 of 100 similar matches this result is expected. It is not certainty, it is a calculated chance.
- Probability bar
- The three-colour bar shows the three results of a match: green = home win, yellow = draw, grey = away win. The slices add up to 100%; it is the model's calculation, not betting odds.
- Home / X / Away
- Home = home side wins, X = draw, Away = away (visiting) side wins. The three add up to 100%.
- Favourite
- The team the model gives the highest chance of winning the match. Being the favourite does not mean winning: even a 45% favourite fails to win about five of ten similar matches.
- Highest model probability
- The match of the day where the model gives a single result its highest percentage. It is the clearest-looking match; it does not mean that result will happen.
- Most balanced match
- The match where no result stands out: all three results are close to each other.
- Expected goals
- The average total number of goals the model expects for the match (e.g. 2.6). Not an exact score, an average expectation.
- 3+ goals · BTTS
- 3+ goals: the probability that at least 3 goals are scored in the match. BTTS (both teams to score): both teams score at least once.
- FT (full time)
- The match is over and the score is final. The percentages on the cards are the probabilities the model gave before the match; they are shown for comparison with the result.
Probabilities are the model's pre-match calculation; they are not a pick or a recommendation. How a match is calculated is in the “Why this probability?” section of the match page (Turkish). 18+ · Not betting advice.
